For the summer of 2016 Thornhill Multisport is proud to offer programs for all who are interested in training for Triathlon or Swimming, both pool and Open Water


THORNHILL ENDUROSWIM – NEW PROGRAM!

Endurance swimming for Open Water Swimmers and Triathletes. Calling all Open Water Swimmers and Triathletes! Come and swim with us to get ready for the outdoor season. Our program gives you up to 3 swim sessions per week, 2 pool, and one at lake Wilcox. Program Feature include, Stroke correction, endurance workouts, Open water technique. Let us help you with your swimming!

Summer Triathlon Program

Starting on May 5 THOR offers an integrated training program of Swimming, Cycling and Running, designed to help club members train and get ready for the upcoming triathlon season. Workouts run throughout the week, and give members a chance to work at improving their conditioning and skills in all aspects of Triathlon.

In addition to our mid-week program, THOR also runs a Saturday session at Lake Wilcox in Richmond Hill where members have the opportunity to spend the morning enjoying open water swimming, cycling and running.

For those who are looking only at our Saturday session, this year for the first time we have put together a Saturday only program at a special rate. Please note that anyone joining this program will be required to attend one pool swim session prior to swimming open water with the group.

Thornhill Multisport endeavors to provide a safe training environment, to that end, we provide fully qualified coaches at all workouts

Summer Triathlon Program – May 3 – September 8, 2016

Pick from 1 to all 4 sessions.

NOTE: A swim proficiency test is required for all swimmers wishing to swim Lake Wilcox

NOTE: a separate Triathlon Ontario Waiver is required to be signed

THORNHILL SUMMER SWIM PROGRAM 

Now in its 11th year, the Thornhill Summer Swim Program offers members a chance to keep in shape over the summer, while also taking the time to focus on their strokes, turns, and other skills required to be more efficient in the water. With a combination of endurance work and stroke technique sessions this program is geared to get members ready for the upcoming 2015/16 swim season.

For new members, this is a great program to start with, as members will have the opportunity to learn the basics of swimming for both Fitness and competition.

For those interested in Open water swimming, our Saturday session at Lake Wilcox is a great option.
