2013 Summer Swim Program
A swimmer never stops swimming, which is why our members are still working in the pool over the summer. Swim workouts will focus on stroke correction, starts, turns, finishes, and endurance building. The competitive highlight of the summer is the Welland 5 Bridges open water swim, on Sunday, August 11, taking place in the Welland canal, in Welland Ontario. Individuals are invited to participate and swim 1k, 3k, 5k, or 10k up and down this historic waterway.

Stroke and Skills Development
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 8:30 – 10:00 PM Thornlea Pool
Freestyle Endurance
Wednesdays: 9:00 – 10:30 PM NTCC
Saturdays: 8:00 - 9:00 AM Lake Wilcox, (open water swim)
Dates: July 2 - August 29, (Thornlea pool program ending on August 15)
