Thornhill Multisport was formed by the amalgamation of the Thornhill Masters Aquatic Club and the Thornhill Triathlon Club in September 2009.  Since that time, the club has grown from 55 members to over 100 members, and has added a second pool to accommodate these numbers and future growth.  We also now run a full year swim program and full year triathlon program allowing members to train continuously without losing momentum.

The Thornhill Masters Aquatic Club which started in September 2004, is one of the premier masters swim clubs in the province. Over the years the club has rapidly moved up in the provincial rankings, from 32nd 6 years ago, to 4th spot at the 2012 Ontario Masters Swimming Championships. With a strong coaching team and with enthusiastic and motivated members, we continue to see success.

The Thornhill Triathlon Club has seen tremendous growth since it started and is expected to continue to attract new members as the sport of triathlon gains in popularity.  Once an online community for triathletes, it is now a seasoned club, focussed on bringing people together to train, educate, support, and share their passion for triathlon.  Working in conjunction with the Thornhill Masters Swim Club, there is no shortage of motivation, commeradery and fun, at each workout or event.

Throughout the year, the THOR logo can be seen at many local and regional swim meets, as well as at major national competitions.  It can be seen competing in triathlons and other distance events across North America.  Thornhill Multisport is a welcoming club that provides it's members with the tools they need to reach their full potential, at any level.
