THOR BANNER V2Founded in September 2004, Thornhill Multisport offers master swimmers and triathlete’s year-round training and customizable programs to help improve their running, cycling, swimming, and overall fitness abilities. Heading into its 11th season, the club has grown to over 100 members who have competed in swim competitions and triathlons, national and internationally. Whether you’re looking to improve your fitness or train at a higher level, THOR’s memberships are all inclusive for athletes of all ages and abilities. “Success breeds success”

Our Programs

Masters Swimming Program

In the swim world, THOR  has established itself as one of the top Masters Swimming programs in Canada, placing 2nd in the Ontario Masters Swimming Championships in 2014 and 16th at the Canadian Masters Swimming Competition in 2013. Members train two to five times a week in the pool, with rates and programs that best suit their schedules.


Emerging Swimmer Program

Moving into the 2nd season, THOR offers an astounding Emerging Swimming program, where new members can learn and improve their basic strokes and turns while building up their fitness and endurance. This program runs in 12 week sessions.


Triathlon Swim Program

NEW PROGRAM Starting this September, our Triathlon Swim Program offers an opportunity for triathletes and endurance swimmers alike to focus on distance swimming while taking advantage of our on-desk coaching staff to help with endurance, performance and stroke improvement.


Triathlon Program

For triathlons, THOR has a place for all who are interested in the sport and it brings people together from all different levels to achieve their personal athletic goals. The triathlon year is broken down into two seasons. The indoor season runs from September to April where members participate in our Triathlon Swim Program while toughing it outside through the winter for weekend runs. Our outdoor season runs from May to September, where members can be found outside road cycling and running, while swim sessions are a combination of indoor and open water swims.
